Business and Retail Certificate Level 1

The course is made up of Units in Personal and Social Development, Retail, Enterprise, Marketing, Employability Skills all of which are coursework based with some elements of practical assessment through role play and observation. The Units provide a comprehensive overview of the work, skills, processes and procedures that are utilised in a work environment. You will complete Functional skills in English and Mathematics over the course of the year to develop your skills and be able to apply these to a real work environment. You will have the opportunity to participate in work experience and gain hands-on experience of working in the real world. This normally takes place within the College.
