Business - Extended Certificate (Level 2)

You will study 5 mandatory units: Enterprise in the Business World Finance for Business (externally assessed) Promoting a Brand Principles of Marketing (externally assessed) Introducing Project Management Small Business Planning You will also study a range of internally assessed units such as: Introducing Retail Business Providing Business Support Recruitment, Selection and Employment Introducing Law and Consumer Rights Business Online Working in Business Teams You will develop your functional skills in English and Maths or study these at GCSE On this course you will develop the study skills to enable you to progress to the level 3 Diploma in Business. A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade D including Mathematics and English, a Foundation Diploma or satisfactory completion of a Level 1 programme with a minimum of 37 credits. Students who obtain a Level 2 Merit grade or Distinction and pass their functional skills / GCSE may progress on to one of a range of level 3 qualifications including the Level 3 Diploma in Business.
