Course Content
The First Diploma in Business is a practical work related course introducing learners to particular areas of employment and providing a good basis to go on to a more advanced work-related qualification.

-Exploring Business Enterprise
Entry RequirementsLearning & Assessment Methods
You will be continuously assessed throughout the course by competing projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded to all learners who successfully complete all units and grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Progression Opportunities
If you achieve an overall merit you will be able to progress onto the BTEC Level 3 Business National Diploma.
Career Opportunities
With further training or study, learners may progress into business related careers such as accounting, administration, customer service, finance, IT, personnel or sales. A BTEC First gives a good preparation for both employment and more advanced courses such as BTEC Business National / Certificate or Diploma.
