What are the main features of this course?
This one year course looks at how firms organise themselves. Topics covered include organisation structure, marketing, enterprise, finance and production. The course also describes the commercial services available to firms. Throughout the course, students will be encouraged to develop their decision making skills through the use of case studies and other problem solving techniques.
Hours of Lessons per Week : 3.7 Indicative Group Size : 20

How is the course assessed?
The examination consists of three units Unit 1 is a controlled assessment task in the form of a report, which will be about Marketing and Enterprise. Unit 2 is a paper exam that assesses the course on the topic of people and business. Unit 3 is based on a pre-released case study covering production, finance and external business environment. This scheme of assessment is untiered covering all of the ability range A* - G.
