This course provides the opportunity to study a wide range of business units and achieve a nationally recognised, vocationally relevant qualification. As well as the study of general business units, there will be the option to specialise in administration, finance, human resources, management or marketing. Students will develop their Functional Skills, undertake work placement and have the opportunity to participate in visits, residential and vocational projects with local employers.

What you need to know
How will I study?

This is the second year of this two year qualification, including such units as: Team Development, Managing a Business Event and Starting a Small Business.
How will I be taught?

You will have the opportunity to take part in group as well as individual activities. You will have the opportunity to examine case studies as well as examples of real business activity.
How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by completing a range of assignments for each unit. These involve written assessments, presentations and roleplays which will allow you to practice key business skills in the process.
