This course will enable you to develop your self-confidence, self-reliance and independence and enable you to take responsibility for your own learning and career development. It will help develop your professionalism and ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
During your first year you will be studying at Nottingham Business School and will be introduced to the basics of business and also prepare you for employment by adopting a professional approach to learning and work. During Year Two, you will complete work-based learning whilst on placement. You will then return to full-time studies in your final year.
Due to the nature of the course you will pay attention to problem solving and explaining how things occur rather than simply knowing more.
In some circumstances students choosing this course may have the opportunity to switch to the BA (Hons) Business Management (2 Year In-Company) course after their second year and complete their final year in employment.
