Introduction to the Creative Industries (Level 1)

Working in a Team You’ll learn the importance of working with others as you and your group work together in a real recording studio. You’ll also write, shoot and edit your own movie trailer. In addition to this, you improve your maths and English skills. Independent Learning Explore your individual talents as you learn the basics of the creative industries. Discover your creative side by designing a logo using Photoshop and creating and sharing your own music tracks. Learning to work on your own will help you become self-motivated and disciplined. You’ll also develop a CV and sit your English and ICT exams. Getting ready for Progression Mastering the basics for DJing and computer game design will be the final units needed for you to complete your Level 1 diploma. This term will see you start your GCSEs and complete higher-level projects. Your tutor will help you decide which of our BTEC Level 2 courses are right for you.
