The MA Business & Management is a 12 month programme that offers a career development opportunity to a wide variety of students – from recent graduates, who may not have a business background, to potential or inexperienced managers based in the UK or overseas. It is also expected to have some mature entry students. The programme aims to link the academic study of business and management with the complex and uncertain business environment faced by today’s managers. In doing this you will develop a comprehensive understanding of a range of important business issues, and will develop a critical perspective of these areas, with the view to developing your business and managerial knowledge, skills and understanding. As part of an international cohort of students you will also gain experience of working in cross-cultural teams that will equip you for a management role in the global economy. The MA in Business and Management aims to provide a stimulating learning and teaching environment in which to support the continued academic development of students by developing their analytical, critical, practical and intellectual skills, thereby contributing to the improvement of business and management practice.
