Business Studies (Extended) BA (Hons)

This course offers practice based education applied to a core of general business knowledge. The extended degree has been designed with a first year (level 3) that specifically prepares EU and international students for study on degree courses at the University of Bedfordshire. Developed in collaboration with lecturers who deliver the degree courses, the combination of the study of a broad range of subjects and academic and technical English will be excellent preparation for your future studies. The range of subjects that is included in the course means that you will have a good underpinning for a range of our sport courses. During your foundation year you will get the opportunity to talk to tutors about your degree study and in some cases you may decide to transfer to a different degree title if you meet the entry requirements and pass the foundation year. You will have a rigorous practice based experience which integrates academic theory and real world business projects and which develops your understanding of how to tackle business problems, the self-awareness to fit into organisations.
