Have you got what it takes to succeed in the fast-paced, ever-changing business world? An A-Level in Business Studies could help you find out. You'll be introduced to this dynamic subject with a look at the key aspects of decision making in business, covering departments like marketing, operations management, human resources, and accounts & finance. You'll explore manager types and leadership styles, and understand how these impact upon decisions made and strategies implemented. Throughout the AS and A-Level, you'll constantly be analysing and evaluating business performance in the real world, identifying opportunities for strategic change and potential methods to improve success! You'll even take a closer look at some of the ethical issues affecting the business world, such as employee working conditions and tax payments.

3. Entry requirements To enrol on this A-Level course, you'll need to have at least five GCSEs at grade C or above, including both Maths and English Language. A GCSE in Business Studies is helpful but it isn't essential, although you should definitely be enthusiastic about business and current affairs. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method There is no coursework for this A-Level. 100% of your mark will be based on exams, with three papers sat at the end of the second year which include multiple choice questions, case study questions, essay questions and questions based on data provided.
