About this course

Anyone who would like to be able to write better emails, letters or reports. Also suitable for anyone looking for a general refresher on the use of grammar and punctuation.

There are no entry requirements for attendance on this course. Participants are encouraged to bring along samples of their written work so that these can form the basis of some course exercises.

Course programme

This one day course is suitable for anyone who has to produce written documents at work and who would like to improve their skills and confidence. Writing is often viewed as an onerous activity, however, with the right tools and techniques it can become more manageable and less time-consuming. The course takes a practical approach with lots of short writing exercises, each designed to illustrate particular points and to provide constructive feedback on use of language, grammar, tone and style.
