What can I expect my delegates/company to gain from attending?
This course will enable delegates to apply to NICEIC to join their scheme for self certification.It ensures that prospective qualifying managers and operatives are fully conversant with the requirements of BS7671 for Inspection, Testing and Certification of electrical installations.
In what training style will this course be delivered?
The course is will include tutor led presentations, video presentations, practical demonstrations and group excises using electrical equipment.There will be two trainers throughout this course with both trainers carrying out practical examinations on the assessment days.
How long will the training last?
This course is run over five days.Delegates will attend either Monday - Friday or Monday - Thursday & the following Monday.
What are the maximum numbers allowed on this course?
We allow a maximum of 16 delegates for the training days.The practical exam will be scheduled as follows: One assessor: One delegate
Morning 8.30 - 10.30, 10.45 - 12.45 and afternoon 13.00 - 15.00, 15.10 - 17.10
How will you measure the effective of the training you have delivered to my delegates?
Our trainer will be continuously assessing the effectiveness of the training throughout the session.A reflective learning log will be available on day two to allow delegates to raise any criteria they would like to discuss.An evaluation form will be provided on the course which will give delegates the opportunity to evaluate both the course and how they felt they have developed during the course.The evaluations forms are available to you on request.
What does the exam entail?
This is a two module examination.The first module is practical and consists of a two hour assessment.Assessment days will be on the Friday ending the training week and the following Monday.
The second module is a written exam and will be 2 ½ hours long.This is run on a Thursday evening from 18.00 - 20.30.Take note,this exam is very in-depth and we do recommend you take advantage of private learning hours.
Will my delegates receive certificates for this course?
All successful delegates will receive a City & Guilds certificate.Delegates who are not successful will receive a certificate of attendance from Training Solutions 2000 provided they completed the full course.

Training Solutions 2000 are available from 9.00 - 5.00 on weekdays to discuss anything relating to the course you have booked before, during and after it has been delivered.
