- Unit 1 – Principles of the course and spread of infection in health care settings
- Unit 2 – Principles of the importance of personal hygiene and health in the prevention and control of infection in health care settings
- Unit 3 – Principles of decontamination, cleaning and waste management in health care settings
- Unit 4 – Principles of infection prevention and control in a health care setting
To gain this Level 2 RQF qualification in Infection Control in Health Care Setting, you will need to provide a portfolio of evidence that contains the successful completion of all activities assigned at the end of each unit. These activities are designed to test your knowledge of the course syllabus and will be assessed by your personal tutor, who will mark, feedback and sign off each finished unit. Within their feedback, learners will find a list of helpful tips which can be used to improve their learning and success on future assignments.
