This qualification is for those who wish to work in a supervisory role. CACHE reccommends you must at least 16 years of age and you have achieved a GCSE at grade C or E or the equivalent to ensure that you are capable of completing the course successfully.

Are you currently working in a school or would you like to work as a:

In this Level 2 course you must successfully complete unit 1 and unit 2. CACHE recommends that candidates taking the whole qualification should commence with unit 1.
Core Unit 1 The Role of a Teaching Assistant
Core Unit 2 Effective Communication Within a Safe School Environment
How you will be assessed on the course You will be assessed on each of the two units for these qualifications, in unit 1 you will need to complete an assignment which will be set and marked by CACHE, for unit 2 you will need to complete an assignment which is set by CACHE and marked by your centre.
Will I receive Support? Study skills are embedded into the course. Your tutor will also cover study skills such as report writing, note taking, research skills and reading skills. Ultimately, you are also expected to study independently, but your tutor will assist you where possible.
