This course is for individuals who would like to learn about canine first aid and the steps to take in a first aid emergency.
Our Canine First Aid Course is a great way to understand some of the basic measures that can be put into action. On completion of the course, you will be issued with a College certificate.

Course Content:
The course covers many first aid procedures including scene assessment and barrier use, CPR and rescue breathing, choking, control of serious bleeding, shock management, spinal injury management, splinting for fractures and dislocations, bandaging minor wounds and more.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by observation of your practical performance throughout the day.
Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required?
Pens and paper will be required.
You should wear sensible flat footwear and trousers/jeans. The College's own equipment will be used on the day.
What can I do after this course?
Your Canine First Aid qualification will need refreshing/renewing in three years, which will keep you up to date with current methods of first aid.
