A parent's nightmare: to see your child choking and not knowing what to do to save their lives. Or for their little hearts to stop, and not knowing what to do...
Our next paediatric first aid sessions for parents (and other family members) will be held on August 3 in Staveley. Book your place now on either our morning or early afternoon session, so you can learn just what to do should those nightmares become reality.
You will learn what to do when your baby/infant or child go unconscious, but are still breathing. What to do when they go unconscious and stop breathing. What to do when they are choking. If there is time, we can also look at how to treat their burns or take care of their wounds.

About this course
To teach parents and grandparents and other people taking care of your children what to do in a health emergency.
Parents and grandparents - or anyone else who cares for young children at any time.
None - though this will be taught in English, most of the time we'll be practicing what to do, so even those who are not that fluent in English can take part.
This is a non-accredited course. If you'd like to see accredited paediatric first aid courses, please see our one day emergency paediatric first aid course here: http://pochattraining.co.uk/emergency-paediatric-first-aid/ and our two day paediatric first aid course here: http://pochattraining.co.uk/paediatric-first-aid/.
This is taught in a fun and engaging, interactive and varied, and very much hands-on way.
We will send you the information you ask for as soon as we can, and you can book via us direct, or by going to our web page for this course at http://pochattraining.co.uk/first-aid-sessions-parents/
