The purpose of this module is to provide you with an opportunity to develop appropriate knowledge and skills to safely and effectively care for cardiac patients in the prevention, treatment and long term management of a range of cardiac problems.The module aims to provide practitioners working in the cardiac field with the competency base to be able to care for individual patients with a range of cardiac problems.This is a Nursing Studies top-up degree programme module. If you wish to complete a top-up degree, please apply directly on the Nursing Studies programme webpage. If you would still like to complete this module as a CPPD student but would like to complete a top-up degree at a later date, please note that you will only be able to transfer a maximum of 30 credits which have been awarded within 5 years prior to the start date of the programme (top-up degree). For those students whose first language is not English, the following qualification is also required:
- IELTS: 7.0
Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
