The Care-Certificate

This course will introduce you to the Care Certificate which is an agreed set of standards that sets out the skills, behaviours and knowledge expected of specific job roles in the Health & Social Care sector. This will form part of your induction programme into your new setting. It is expected that new healthcare support workers and adult social care workers will complete the 15 Care Certificate standards before they work without supervision in any workplace.

The Code Of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers has the moral and ethical standards widely expected of all health and social care workers.
