The Care Certificate was officially launched in March 2015 and is the new minimum standard that should be covered as part of induction training of new care workers. It aims to equip health and social care support workers with the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe, compassionate care.
The Care Certificate consists of 15 units. This course assesses the knowledge criteria of these units via distance learning.
