Caring for Children CACHE Foundation Award (CFCC) Entry Requirements

• A range of GCSEs at E-G including English Language and preferably Maths or equivalent
• An Entry Level course with good evidence of ability to achieve at a higher level.

Entry is subject to a successful interview. You will need a clean CRB check.

Content
You will study a range of topics including:

Personal Development

• Human Growth and Development
• Food and Nutrition
• Health and Safety Practice
• Care of Children
• Play Activities
• Orientation to Work Programme

Key Skills will also form part of your final qualifications.

You will spend one day a week during terms two and three in practical work placement working with children between one and seven years 11 months.

Assessment Portfolio tasks, end test, good tutor report from work experience. Progression This course will prepare you for further study such as the CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Child Care and Education Work Experience One day a week in practical placement working with children from birth to 8 years.
