Carpentry Apprenticeship Certificate Level 2

You will need to be employed to study this course.
What will I study?
This course involves attending College for one day per week. It
consists of study for a number of qualifications including:

• An NVQ Level 2, Intermediate Construction Award (combination of
  practical and theory work)
• Key Skills Number and Communications Level 1
• Health & Safety and Employer Rights and
  Responsibilities

On successful completion an Apprenticeship Certificate will be
awarded which is a nationally recognised qualification accepted by
the construction industry.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to take an assessment test, attend a college
interview and be employed as a carpenter.
What can I do next?
This can lead to progression onto an Advanced Apprenticeship at
Level 3.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
