Who is this course for?

This is an excellent course for those who are wishing to gain further hand skills experience in Carpentry & Joinery whilst working towards achieving a nationally recognised qualification. This is a hands on enjoyable programme which whilst challenging will provide a nationally recognised qualification.

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

Applicants will need to have successfully completed Diploma Level 1 of this course in all aspects before proceeding onto Diploma Level 2.

What will I study ?

This course will cover a variety of topics related to this subject including Health & Safety. The full list of modules is written in the course handbook.

How will I be assessed ?

Assessment will be through: * Practical Tasks and Theory Units

What qualifications could I achieve ?

On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Diploma Level 2.

How do I join the course ?

Applicants will need to complete and return an application form, whereupon they will be invited to attend an interview.

Will I need an interview ?

Yes. There will be an interview with a member of the construction staff.

Any extra costs for equipment/materials ?

All students must provide and wear safety footwear. Some students will be required to pay fees see prospectus for details.

The programme of study may include work experience and there is also a possibility of enrichment trips in order to gain further experience and knowledge.
