History
CCW was started by Mike Tan in 2008. Earlier in that year Mike was Employed with URS as an Associate Director. It was at this time that the recession hit and the economy took a turn for the worst. The construction industry was one of the first and worst to be hit. Mike was made redundant and soon found that he was over qualified, over experienced and over paid for any positions that he was capable of doing and were available.
Mike could see that things would get worse before they got better. It was here that Mike decided that something had to be done about the rising unemployment rate, the difficulties in the job market - that he himself had faced -, and the absence of help for individuals in this situation, especially the civil engineering sector that he had worked in for over 30 years.
CCW has been running for since 2008 and gone from strength to strength. Our philosophy that providing delegates with; quality support, the best service and the best training leads them to find a new and revived enthusiasm for their job search. Our ultimate goal is to help you find sustainable employment by reviving the enthusiasm and passion for work within everyone.
Advantages of studying here
We pride ourselves on our quality of teaching. All of our classes are tutor lead and are taught in small groups of no more that 7 delegates. This allows our tutors to spend as much time with our students as possible and explaining anything our delegates may be struggling with. This insures that no one is 'left behind' during class and everyone is able to contribute to discussions.
Our tutors are experienced and of the highest standard of teaching. We understand the need for tutors that have practical knowledge as well as theory.
We offer a discreet coaching and counselling service to all of our delegates to help them with any personal or professional problems that they might have in a non-invasive manner.
We offer a mock interview service and presentation workshop for all of our delegates. If you do get an interview we will help you prepare for it and give you the best possible chance. This service is free to anyone who has studied with us, regardless of how long ago your training was or if it outside of working hours.
