Those aiming for a career in training, or trainers needing to update their knowledge and skills will benefit from this course. The course provides a theoretical and practical approach to the training process through the study of five modules: induction and basic skills for trainers, identifying and analysing training needs, training design, participative methods, and assessing and evaluating training. On completion candidates receive a CIPD certificate in training practice and are eligible for associate grade of membership of the chartered institute of personnel and development.
