Certified Coaches Federation

History

The Certified Coaches Federation was found by Author and Executive Business Trainer Derrick Sweet in 2006 as a alternative to the many over complicated and and complex coach training programs which dominate the coach training industry. The CCF's courses are the distillation of years of work with coaches, training professionals, and students from around the world and represents the core elements that are required to become a life or executive coach. Since its launch the CCF has expanded across North America now delivering courses in over 40 cities in the US and Canada each year. Internationally courses are held in central and South America, around the Pacific Rim in Europe and across the UK & Ireland. The CCF has certified over 5,000 Life and Executive Coaches and now provides a level 2 Master Coach Training program and ongoing professional development taught by members of the CCF Faculty all of whom are working coaches as well as Master Coach Trainers.

The Certified Coaches Federation Certified Coach Practitioner Course level 1 is designed to provide individuals with the opportunity to gain the skills required to enter the field of coaching without having to spend months or years, and thousands of pounds study in a drawn out program which spent much of the curriculum re-teaching people the things that had already taken a lifetime to learn. The CCF program is premised on the fundamental belief that learning coaching can be a simple and focused process which should acknowledge the life experience of the student and then teach only what is required beyond that to allow the student to understand the principles, ethics and techniques oi coaching and provide a structured approach to engaging with clients once they have graduated.

CCF courses require intensive participation from the students who take part but the courses provide more over a shorter period than many other courses manage in months and months of dedicated study. The CCFs Certified Coach Practitioner designation is recognized the world over as a sign of professional discipline and ethical coaching.
