AIMS: This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the legal requirements and correct practices/procedures in relation to Chainsaws.

• Causes of accidents with chainsaws
• Testing and fitting of chains
• Resetting rests and guards
• Inspection and testing
• PPE

BY THE END OF THE COURSE delegates will be able to Understand Regulations and Legal Obligations, demonstrate knowledge and practical application, maintenance and repair of the chainsaws and equipment correctly, examine and test the chainsaw and explain key safety functions of the chainsaw.
