This course authorises the trainer to use the trainers pack to cover the following areas: Awareness of the importance of person centred care Understanding the importance of good communication Knowing how to improve care delivered to people with challenging behaviour Knowing how to support relationships of people with challenging behaviour Understanding the reasons for behaviour we may find difficult Knowing the different types of dementia Understanding what it may be like to have dementia. Suitable for: This is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and those providing care in the community who may be called upon to deliver challenging behaviour training to management and employees. Training provides the skills necessary to run four separate training sessions with separate training material provided for each.

- You have attended our People Movers Trainer / Assessor Course and gained NCFE Accredited at Level 3 Certification. Or....
- If you already hold certification where you have been assessed with regard to presentation skills.
