- Identify key dates in various artists mini biographies- Analyse song lyrics and appreciate the differences of styles and intentions between genres- Get a better sense of versification, rhyming and rhythms of contemporary French in popular music.

Course programme
The course will focus on discovering the artists who made their career at that time, as well as some of their most famous hits and their lyrics. We will analyse the texts, and subtexts, of some of the songs and compare their respective styles and objectives.
