Objectives & Course Content
- The intensive briefing will look at:
- What is child abuse
- The definition of "significant Harm"
- Identifying abuse/associated behavioural changes
- Recognising the signs
- Legislation and Best Practice's In safeguarding
- How to manage a disclosure and the process of "telling someone".
The training will be mostly "lecture" although a large group exercise will be undertaken to show attendees the complexity of investigations, following disclosure.
