Carol Shenstone Reveals A Fascinating Insight Into The World Of Children From Newborns To Pre-School And Beyond -- In Her Exciting Home Study Course `The Child Psychology Revealed!'

Did you know that a baby, even a few minutes old, can copy your behaviour?
Or that babies who have just been born can recognise their mothers voice?

Or that infants look to adults as role models of how to behave?

Whether you are a parent, teacher, nursery worker or just someone who baby-sits occasionally, you will already know that children can be extremely hard work. They can throw tantrums, throw toys and often throw you into a fit of frustration as a result!

Yet children can also make us feel incredibly fulfilled. They are full of love, energy, honesty, enthusiasm, imagination and creativity. No wonder then, that children always tend to steal the show whenever they're around!

Wouldn't it be fantastic to have insider knowledge of child psychology so that we could make better parents or child care workers?

Having an understanding of child psychology enables us to give a child the best possible start in life, making it much more likely that our kids will grow up to be happy, balanced and confident.

Child psychology is one of the most fascinating and rewarding subjects you could ever choose to study.

It's fascinating because you will learn about what makes children behave the way they do, how to change their behaviour, how to stretch their imagination, how to build their confidence and self esteem, and how to help them learn to love themselves for who they are and, most importantly, how to make them into well-rounded, content and happy adults.

It's rewarding because you will see them grow and develop, each day learning more skills to help them become sociable, understanding, caring, compassionate and responsible. You can use basic principles of child psychology to help them to accept others for who they are and to love and respect themselves.

The importance of providing structure for a childUnfortunately, few people give very much thought to the psychological health of children. Most assume that psychological health is automatic, and that if we leave children to their own devices, they will grow up to have strong identities that include high levels of self-esteem and self-confidence.

But psychological health is not an automatic given. Like physical health, it needs to be encouraged and nurtured. And in order to do that, we as caregivers need to understand at least a little about how children form their identities and thereby determine their unique psychological destinies.

To help you encourage the development of a healthy psychology in children, you'll discover five simple principles in the course -- that you can adopt when interacting with children. You can play a much more positive role in a child's life by encouraging them at every turn. These five ideas are ones which many child psychologists have used to conquer temper tantrums for many years. They are tried, tested.

Become a routinely optimistic person who is always eager to point out that life is what we make it, that dreams can be realised and that those who aspire to achieve their goals tend to do far better than those who don't. A child who is on the recieving end of such encouragement will tend to raise their standards and focus their full potential.

Understand what makes children behave the way they do, how to change their behaviour, how to stretch their imagination, how to build their confidence and self esteem, and how to help them learn to love themselves for who they are and, most importantly, how to help them become well-rounded, content and happy adults.

Throughout the course we will also discuss several important child psychology theories and how they were developed. This background understanding will enable you to put the practical content of the course into context, and thereby make your interaction with children more effective, rewarding and fulfilling.

This fascinating course will teach you so much about how we become who we are today. It will help you understand children and to be a better parent/carer. Indeed, the material contained in this course is so compelling that it could change your views on children or childcare forever!
