Childcare - CACHE Entry Level 3 Certificate

During the course you will study a number of units, including setting a routine, healthy lifestyles, and the importance of play and learning. There will also be an element of work experience as part of the course.

You will also study Maths and English if you do not already have a grade A* - C in these subjects.

You will need:

• a keen interest in childcare
• good references and a successful interview
• a good level of spoken and written English, as well as good communication skills
• an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

You will be assessed using a range of methods, including tasks set by CACHE such as designing charts or leaflets, or methods such as oral questioning.

On successful completion of the course, you will achieve the CACHE Entry Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and the relevant Maths and English qualifications. You can then progress to a Level 1 course in childcare.
