Children's Care, Learning and Development NVQ Level 3

Course Length: Approximately 12 to 18 months

Suitable For: Those working with children from 0-16 (and their families) in settings or services whose main purpose is children's care, learning and development. It is designed for all workers, whether full time or part time, paid or voluntary.

The Course

The course is delivered by a combination of on site assessment, learner statements, witness testimonies and questioning with attendance at off the job training sessions as required.

Course content includes

To achieve a level 3 NVQ, you must complete a total of nine units - five mandatory and four optional.

• Develop and maintain a healthy, safe secure environment for children
• Promote children's development
• Reflect on and develop practice
• Protect and promote children's rights
