Children's Design and Theatrecraft

The Anna Fiorentini Theatre and Film School runs dancing, singing, acting, design and film classes with professionals from theatre, film and television for children and young people from underprivileged backgrounds.

Our children's design and theatrecraft classes cover make-up, mask making, costume design, lighting, set design, stage management and publicity.

So much of a successful production relies on good set design, make-up and costume design. In this class the student will learn about the hard work involved behind the scenes as well as learning some valuable skills that may inspire other career choices. Students anticipating a career in the performing arts profession will learn to respect the work of the technicians who make things happen behind the scenes.
