About this course
Applicants should have studied to a level 3 standard NQF (National Qualification Framework) and/or A Levels, 5 GCSEs (grade C or above, one in English) or equivalent. All applicants will be interviewed. If you are a mature learner without formal qualifications we are happy to discuss entry requirements on an individual basis.

Description

Course Length
The Foundation Degree course takes three years attending college one afternoon or evening a week.
What will I study?
There are two levels of study, each module at level 4 is matched by a progression module at level 5, allowing you to develop and extend your knowledge and understanding.
There are 16 modules in all, 8 at level 4 and 8 at level 5.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is a continuous process throughout the programme and takes a variety of forms. It includes essay writing, group and individual presentations, work based reflections and peer assessment. There is no formal exam.
Where could it lead?
The Foundation Degree is an award in its own right, however on successful completion of this award you could progress to a full Honours Degree 3rd Year. Following this it is possible to apply for EYPS or Teacher Training, postgraduate.
