The module has been developed for practice nurses and specialist heart failure nurses working with patients who have chronic heart diseases.
It is strongly recommended that all students attending this module are contemporary with the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory and cardiac systems to benefit from the physical assessment day, which will focus on these two systems (i.e. undertaking a physical assessment).
