Trailblazer Apprenticeship in Dentistry Management

Who is this course for?

For Dental practice managers who some experience, who have worked their way up to the position and need to improve their Business knowledge. This course provides learning pathways in a wide range of areas to allow a holistic management approach of the practice, enabling professionals to make better-informed decisions.

What will I study ?

This course is designed to instil the skills and capabilities to run the business effectively and successfully. Taking the holistic view, you will be able to take a strategic approach to managing the practice; increasing the efficiency of operations, by streamlining workflows and increasing the quality of patient care. This two-year course keeps you in the working environment with only three or four days taught in college per year. You will be able to implement new procedures and processes in an environment you are already familiar with for the benefit of the entire team.

How will I be assessed ?

A portfolio of work showing evidence of scenario-based projects, learning activities and assessments takes place in practice and a student mentor will support you as you learn.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

You can achieve a nationally recognised qualification, a higher-level apprenticeship and the ILM Level 4 Certificate in Leadership and Management.
