These qualifications in Food Safety focus on the food safety requirements for businesses in the catering, manufacturing and retail industries. Food Safety is very important in any food business in order to reduce risks such as food poisoning and contamination, which are caused by lack of knowledge and training.

Program

Food legislation requires everyone working with food to have a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and ensure that the food they serve or sell is perfectly safe to eat. In order to maintain these practices all people handling food need to be trained and are recommended to keep their knowledge up-to-date with a refresher course every three years.

• Food premises and equipment

This one day course comprises of an informative training session, revision time and a multiple choice examination. The cost of this course includes registration and certification.
