Course programme
Prepares employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances. Qualification title change
The CIEH Level 2 Award in the Principles of COSHH qualification replaces the CIEH Principles of COSHH Certificate. The training programme remains the same, although we have produced a detailed, updated syllabus and a ‘How to deliver’ document.
The principal change is that, we now issue a 30-multiple-choice-question examination papers that are scan marked. Candidates are allowed one hour to complete the exam. The switch to scan marking should make this qualification easier to deliver and reflects the CIEH’s commitment to robust and transparent assessment methods.
All centres and trainers registered to deliver the CIEH Principles of COSHH Certificate have been registered automatically to deliver the new award. The new scan-marked papers for the CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH were issued in 2 July 2007. Old-style examination papers were withdrawn on 31 December 2007.
Please note that, an updated training pack and the new booklet is now available to buy for this qualification. To place your order, call the CIEH Sales Order Hotline on 020 7828 5900
