INTRODUCTION :

This course is specifically designed to provide basic knowledge for anyone who works in a health and/ or social care setting to prevent the spread of infection.

On completion of the training successful candidates understand the principles of good hygiene, thus ensuring that patients and clients are treated in a safe and clean environment.
AIMS :

The qualification provides an introduction to hygiene awareness and focuses on three key areas;

• Hygiene hazards
• Personal hygiene
• Cleaning
