CIEH Level 3 Award in Implementing Food Safety Management Procedures

Guernsey food law now requires all businesses producing food to have a documented safety management system in place, based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles.

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Implementing Food Safety Management Procedures is a new qualification equivalent to the "Intermediate" level.

Course Content

The course follows a defined syllabus;

  • The 12 steps to the HACCP process.
  • Controls required to ensure food safety.
  • Use of management tool such as the FSA's Safer Food Better Business pack.

Assessment

This new qualification will help caterers to implement a food safety management system based on HACCP principles. Assignment completed under exam conditions.

Verifier CIEH. 3 year certificate
