Course programme
Successful completion of the training programme and assessment will enable candidates to understand :
- Legislation
- Supervisory management
- Temperature control (chilling, cooking)
- Cleaning
- Contamination control
- Applying and monitoring good hygiene practices
- Implementing good food safety procedures
- Contributing to the safety training of others
To achieve the Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering candidates are required to attend a 3 day course (18 hours) concluding with a short exam of multiple choice questions.
This course is run from our training centre in Exeter through out the year (usually once per month). We are also happy to arrange a course to meet an individuals specific requirements (i.e. if you would like it delivered at your premises).
