Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for all those working in all food businesses at supervisory level. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders and proprietors of small businesses. This qualification is well respected by both the authorities and employers. It is also appropriate for those who are considering progressing on to the Level 4 Certificate.

Duration
The duration of the course is 18 hours (3 ½ days) and we usually run the course one day a week over 3 weeks, with the examination on the morning of the fourth day. We usually aim to start the course at 9.00am each day and therefore taking into account time for refreshment and lunch breaks, the course usually finishes around 4.30pm each day. The course will take place on

Assessment
There is a 60 question multiple-choice test and candidates are required to achieve 66% or more in order to receive a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety. Candidates who achieve a score of 85% or more will be awarded a credit pass. Examinations are also available in Cantonese and Bengali.QCA Accredited
