Course Content:
The course includes the following compulsory core units. Introduction to Logistics; Information and Communication Technology; Movement of goods and people; You can select 2 of the following elective units according to availability and demand. Production Planning and Inventory Management; Warehousing; Procurement; Transport Planning and Service Provision.

Other Information:
This course is an introductory qualification, giving a broad understanding of the integrated supply-chain, with relevance to movement of goods and people. It is part of a series of CILT courses, with a recognised progression route, leading to an appropriate grade of CILT Membership. Assessment is by a short multiple choice examination at the end of each unit.

Progression:
The CILT(UK) Level 3 Certificate in Logistics and Transport would be the recommended progression route or other specialised supervisory/management courses.
