This organizations are responsible for providing the syllabus and validating exams. City School is known for its quality and innovative teaching methods. The Charted Institute of Management Accountant

The Charted Institute of Management Accountants is one of the world's largest and fastest growing international accountancy bodies. It offers examinations based on international accounting standards, providing global skills that are highly demanded by employers in all sectors. The Foundation level covers the basics of business and financial accounting for those new to the subject area. It will also introduce you to the concept of management accounting applications and statistical analysis by accountants. At intermediate level, students will gain a detailed understanding of management and financial accounting enabling them to understand the operations of organisations, their tax liabilities and organisational structure.

The CIMA Professional Qualification is highly regarded and recognised by business around the world. The syllabus is made up of three elements:

• The Managerial level – six exams
• The Strategic level – three exams
• The Test of Professional Competence in Management Accounting (TOPCIMA) – one exam based on a case study.

All the exams are three hours long and have a pass mark of 50%.

CIMA Strategic Level

The Strategic level focuses on key strategic issues and business practices.

This level is made up of three subjects:

• Paper P3 Management Accounting Risk and Control Strategy
• Paper P6 Management Accounting Business Strategy
• Paper P9 Management Accounting Financial Strategy

The Managerial level syllabus content may also be relevant for the Strategic level exams. For example, content in the Paper P1 Management Accounting Performance Evaluation syllabus may also be relevant in the Paper P6 Management Accounting Business Strategy exam.
