This short course delves into how the business context drives reward strategies and policies, including labour market and sector trends; regional and international differences in pay; and the financial drivers of the organisation.

You'll gain a theoretical and strategic understanding of the principles of reward, then learn to implement them in practice, gather and evaluate reward data, and advise organisations on the impact of reward on business viability and employee performance.

About this course

To study this CIPD Intermediate Level 5 course, you should generally have at least one of the following:

Some HR experience in an entry-level HR role
Managerial experience that involved elements of HR
A degree and a desire to begin studying HR at a higher level than Foundation Level 3

On completion of this course, you'll achieve a CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Award in Human Resources, and your certificate from CIPD will reflect this.
