Grafton College is a local Cisco Networking Academy delivering CCNA training. CCNA, one of the Cisco Academy programs, is designed to teach students the skills needed to design, build, and maintain small to medium-sized networks. This provides them with the opportunity to enter the workforce and/or further education and training in the computer networks field. Particular emphasis is given to the use of decision-making and problem-solving techniques in applying science, mathematics, communication, and social studies concepts to solve networking problems. In addition, instruction and training are provided in the proper care, maintenance and use of networking software tools and equipment in all locals, regional and national safety, building and environmental codes and regulations.

Semester: CCNA 1
Course Title : Networking Basics Competencies
Course Content:
- Computer hardware and software, electricity, networking terminology and protocols.
- LANs and WANs, Open Systems Introduction (OSI) models, Ethernet, and internet Protocol (IP) addressing
- Design and documentation of a basic network and structured cabling
