What will I learn?

CCNA Module 1 In this course, students will learn how to configure and troubleshoot more complex networks using simulations and real routers, switches and PCs Topics include:

  • Troubleshooting VLAN connectivity
  • Understanding Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
  • Configuring Etherchannel
  • Troubleshooting IPV4 & IPV6 networks
  • Implementing and Troubleshooting the EIGRP routing protocol
  • Multi-area OSPF routing
  • Managing Cisco Devices

How will I be assessed?

Learners will need to pass10 chapter tests during the course

What may it lead to?

On completion of both the CCNA Modules (1 & 2) learners can sit the CCNA exam at our Pearson Vue Centre and become a Cisco Certified Networking Associate Jobs include, Network Engineer, IT System Support

Entry Requirements

Experience of:

  • Configure PCs in an IP network environment
  • The commonly used networking terms and topologies
  • The basic functions of a network protocol Fundamental network device roles (for example, hub, bridge, router, and switch)
  • The use of Windows to run multiple applications
  • Accessing the Internet or an intranet

The fee for Module 1 - ICND 2 (CCNA Part 3 & 4) is £809 Learners have the option to pay by instalments Information on direct debit payments provided on request

There is also an option of a self-study course with attendance only required for practical and theory exams (up to 10 sessions) In order to complete the course on this basis learners would need to already be working in a technical networking role with experience of technologies (hardware/software) at this level The fee is £578

Learners who successfully complete CCNA 1 & 2 will receive an automatic reduction of 20% on CCNA 3 & 4
