Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server: Design & Integration

Aims and Objectives
This course segments the IT infrastructure and identifies various integration tools and methods based on MetaFrame XP Presentation Server requirements, best practices and real-world implementations.

The objective of this course is to provide learners with the expertise and knowledge necessary to design and implement MetaFrame XP Presentation Server solutions while taking an overall IT architecture into consideration.

Target Audiences
This course is intended for experienced solutions architects, systems integrators and IT professionals familiar with Citrix technologies.

Prerequisites
The following knowledge and experience is highly recommended for the successful completion of this course:
Systems or network administration in Microsoft® Windows® 2000 environments.
Administration of Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server.
Enterprise Edition.
Passing score on Citrix exam 220, 221 or 222.
Passing score on Citrix exam 610.
Previous attendance in the following Citrix training courses is highly recommended prior to attending CX6101AI:
CX1222BB Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server.

Module 1: Identify common characteristics of access infrastructure usage models.
Module 2: Identify key characteristics of application installation and execution in a multi-user environment.
Module 3: Identify areas of integration for applications and techniques for ensuring application compatibility in a multi-user environment.
Module 4: Identify key processes and metrics for sizing a server and performing scalability testing.
Module 5: Outline the impact of a MetaFrame XP Presentation Server farm in a domain infrastructure.
Module 6: Identify key policy and profile considerations and use of appropriate tools to configure policies and profiles in a MetaFrame XP Presentation Server environment.
Module 7: Outline proper network configurations for a MetaFrame XP Presentation Server environment.
Module 8: Outline printing models and identify integration points.
Module 9: Identify common tools to manage and monitor a MetaFrame XP Presentation Server Farm.
Module 10: Design disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
