Course programme

Introduction

The advanced diploma is delivered over two years. The first year is devoted to building you basic knowledge of hardware and software before the student is introduced to networking. If you have prior knowledge of computing, you may be exempted from the first year.

In this course, you learn by doing. The course is delivered hands-on during which you take apart and reassemble the components of a PC and use specific techniques for identifying the source of hardware and software problems.

The field of networking continues to grow, fuelled by increasingly sophisticated user requirements and applications which place growing demands on networks. Today's professionals must have a solid foundation in networking concepts and practices to streamline enterprise operations.
