About this course

To gain the Level 2 Certificate you will train with us within a commercial environment so you have plenty of opportunity for practical application on a range of Level 2 dog breeds and others. You will work with and be taught by Sara Hart LCGI, ABDN, a City & Guilds Medal for Excellence Winner for her amazing tutoring skills, student support and professionalism.

Anybody looking to work within a dog grooming salon.

No pre-course requirements.

City and Guilds Level 2 Certification

There are also structured classroom sessions covering necessary theory including an introduction to canine behaviour and handling, taught by Dean Hart MSc CFBA AABP, a qualified and experienced clinical canine behaviourist.

Our students have opportunity to interact with clients, complete a Level 2 groom from start to finish, under supervision and full support, so they are ready to succeed within their newly chosen career.
The maximum number of students within a practical class is four and very often 1-2-1 teaching takes place due to our flexible teaching rota. On most occasions there is a student ration of 1-2-1 for each dog (one student working with one dog).
